<p>The primary purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive human resources advisory services and strategic support across recruitment, employee relations, employment conditions, HR systems and workplace compliance to support effective workforce management and organisational objectives.ben</p><br><h3>Benefits</h3><p>• Strategic HR leadership with direct influence on business decisions.&nbsp;</p><p>• Broad exposure across recruitment, employee relations, workforce planning, payroll and compliance.&nbsp;</p><p>• Opportunity to lead projects, mentor HR team members and drive continuous improvement.&nbsp;</p><p>• Work closely with senior leaders and make a genuine impact on organisational culture and performance.&nbsp;</p><p>• Career growth within a national, values-driven organisation</p><br><h3>Task & responsibilities</h3><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Responsible for providing strategic HR advisory support and recruitment services by:<ul><li>Providing HR advice and support to management on workforce requirements, recruitment strategies and talent acquisition activities.</li><li>Developing and maintaining HR instruments including position descriptions, remuneration frameworks and workforce documentation.</li><li>Advising on recruitment processes including talent attraction, interviews, competency assessments and selection outcomes.</li><li>Negotiating employment terms and conditions with employees, candidates and labour hire providers.</li><li>Analysing recruitment and workforce information and providing reports and recommendations to management and relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Overseeing employee onboarding processes and analysing recruitment information to support workforce planning.</li></ul></li><li>Responsible for supporting HR operations, systems and compliance activities by:<ul><li>Maintaining accurate employee records and HR information through Employment Hero and payroll systems.</li><li>Conducting and coordinating pre-employment activities, including employment screening, pre-employment reviews and drug and alcohol testing.</li><li>Reviewing and improving HR processes, systems and documentation to support compliance and operational effectiveness.</li></ul></li></ul><ul style="list-style-type:circle;"><li>Responsible providing HR advisory support and guidance on workplace relations matters by:<ul><li>Advising managers, supervisors and employees on workplace relations, National Employment Standards (NES), Modern Awards, employment contracts and relevant legislation.</li><li>Providing support on employee relations matters including grievances, disputes, performance management and workplace investigations.</li><li>Facilitating grievance resolution meetings and employee consultation processes where required.</li><li>Reviewing, developing and updating contracts, variations, policies, procedures, forms and HR documentation.</li></ul></li></ul><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Responsible for supporting employee engagement, capability and HR initiatives by:<ul><li>Collaborating with the Human Resources team and Learning and Development Lead to implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement, culture, capability and employee experience.</li><li>Supporting rewards and recognition programs, employee and safety committees, induction processes and employee development initiatives.</li><li>Supporting HR projects and continuous improvement activities aligned with organisational objectives and values.</li></ul></li><li>Responsible for supporting payroll and employment conditions by:<ul><li>Collaborating with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.&nbsp;</li><li>Reviewing employee changes including remuneration adjustments, allowances, deductions, benefits and employment variations.&nbsp;</li><li>Providing advice and support regarding employment conditions, payroll-related matters and compliance obligations.</li></ul></li><li>Responsible for providing HR team leadership and support by:<ul><li>Providing guidance, coaching and support to HR team members to ensure effective delivery of HR services.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinating HR activities, priorities and projects within the team.&nbsp;</li><li>Supporting consistent application of HR policies, procedures and employment practices across the organisation.</li></ul></li></ul><br><h3>Qualification & experience</h3><p>• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline. or minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior HR advisory or business partnering role.&nbsp;</p><p>• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, awards, employee relations and workplace compliance.&nbsp;</p><p>• Experience in recruitment, workforce planning, performance management and organisational development.&nbsp;</p><p>• Proficiency in HRIS platforms, payroll systems and Microsoft Office applications.&nbsp;</p><p>• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical and problem-solving skills.</p>
